The baton is handed over at around kilometre 7.65/18.2/28.75 (Hafenspitze 2 - Wasserkante) and at kilometre 12.0/22.55/33.1 (Hafenspitze 1 - Sandplatz).

Each lap leads through the pedestrian zone around the Flensburg Galerie and past the central bus station to the harbour basin. From there, the route crosses the harbour tip to the eastern side of the fjord and then heads north along flat roads parallel to the water. Between Volkspark and the Baltic Sea , the route changes to Sonwiker Promenade via the grounds of the sewage works, where the turning point is reached almost at the end. Now the route continues along the fjord back to the harbour, in the opposite direction around the harbour tip, past historic ships and through Flensburg's Nordertor gate, turning south. The route continues through the infamous Oluf-Samson-Gang in the centre of the historic old town with the shoe lines and through the pedestrian zone back to Südermarkt.

• All sufficiently trained and healthy runners are eligible to participate.
• All participants are responsible for their own health requirements for taking part in the event, if necessary following medical advice.
• The legal guardians are responsible for the participation of minors.

• Place 1-3 overall.
• There will only be a team classification without further differentiation.
• The award ceremony is expected to take place at 13:10 in the Flensburg Galerie. Please pay attention to the announcements on site.

• All successful runners will receive a medal at the finish line.
• The official certificate can be downloaded and printed out after the event.
