Conditions of participation
Participation in the event with electronic playback devices (headphones, MP3 players etc.) as well as walking sticks, baby joggers, pushchairs and animals is not permitted for safety reasons. For children and young people, acceptance of these conditions by their legal guardians is a prerequisite for participation. Paid athletes are not permitted.
Cancellation
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to two weeks after registration (§355 BGB). The cancellation must be received by the organiser in writing. The entry fee will not be refunded in the event of later cancellation.
In the event of extreme weather conditions and other unforeseeable events, the organiser reserves the right to change the route or cancel the event. In the event of non-participation (§ 312g Para. 2 No. 9 BGB) and cancellation, abandonment or interruption due to force majeure, there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.
It is possible to take out start cancellation insurance.
Exclusion of liability
By registering, the participant accepts the invitation to tender and the organiser's exclusion of liability for damages of any kind. No claims will be made against the organiser or the sponsors of the race and their representatives for loss, damage or injury of any kind that may occur as a result of participation. Each participant warrants that he/she has trained sufficiently for participation in this competition and is in good physical health.
The medical staff is authorised to remove persons from the race if there are any threatening signs of health impairment.
Data collection and use
All participants agree that the data stated in their registration may be used and passed on for the purpose of the event. This also includes the sending of information emails from the organiser to participants' email addresses, which may contain advertising from sponsors. Participants guarantee that the information provided is correct. By registering, they declare their consent to the electronic storage of their data and the publication of the list of participants as well as the competition results and pictures taken during the event.
The personal data provided by participants when registering will be stored by the timing partner Davengo GmbH, Kitzingstraße 15-19, 12277 Berlin, and processed by the organiser for the purposes of running and handling the event (timekeeping, publication of results, medical service, photo provider and medal engraver). This applies in particular to the data required for payment processing and medical care. In addition, personal running results are stored, processed and published in order to create a results database, including a historical database, which can also be used to print out the running results on personalised certificates.
Data protection
All data collected is processed and stored in accordance with the GDPR.
